Vehicle Catches on Fire on Artesia (91) Freeway in Cerritos

The accident on the eastbound 91 Freeway west of Bloomfield Ave. was reported at 8:45 p.m.

A vehicle on the side of the Artesia (91) Freeway in Cerritos is engulfed with flames and the smoke is reportedly causing some visibility problems for other motorists.

An SUV apparently caught on fire about 8:45 p.m Wednesday and its driver pulled over to the right shoulder of the eastbound 91 Freeway just west of Bloomfield Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to reports from the scene, the vehicle is fully engulfed with flames, causing a significant amount of smoke in the area.
