VIDEO: Dozens of CareMore Seniors Bust a Move During Flash Mob

A group of CareMore seniors prove it's never too late to be part of the flash mob phenomenon.

More than 60 CareMore seniors ages 65 and up recently made their viral video debut via a flash mob performance, proving that you can be active and hip at any age.

The Cerritos-based health plan has launched the Youtube channel to promote the “CareMore Heart Mob”, a group of amateur senior dancers, including 93-year-old member, Roslyn Levitt. The group performed to Huey Lewis’ “Heart of Rock n’ Roll” in the middle of a crowded farmer’s market in Las Vegas as part of a campaign to raise awareness for CareMore’s new Heart Plan -- an initiative to promote cardiac wellness in the senior community.

The CareMore Care Centers, known for a variety of senior-only free classes, coordinated this special Feb. 25 event. Marilyn Gray, CareMore choreographer and teacher, taught the seniors the line dance. The performance was followed by an encore dance also featured on the CareMore Health Plan YouTube Channel.
