Low Fees, Lots of Love at the "Whiskers Wonderland" Pet Adoption Event this Saturday

The largest Pet Adoption day in California will take place at 17 animal shelters throughout Los Angeles County from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17. Discounted adoption fees offered one day only.

Open your heart and warm your home with the love of a forever friend by adopting a pet at the largest single day pet adoption event in California this Saturday.

The Found Animals Foundation will host “Whisker Wonderland” on Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 17 Los Angeles area shelters. The event will feature discounted adoption fees, including the popular “two for one” cat adoption special that allows someone to take home two furry felines for the price of one.

“Pets make a great addition to any family, especially during the holidays,” said Found Animals’ Executive Director, Aimee Gilbreath.  “There are so many dogs and cats in Los Angeles shelters looking for a warm home this holiday season.  In this time of good will and cheer, we want to encourage anyone looking for a pet companion to head out to Whisker Wonderland, meet these loving pets, and ADOPT!”

Adoption fees on the day of the event range from $40 - $125 and include spay/neuter, a pet microchip, and all vaccinations appropriate for the pet’s age.

Adopters to Receive Free Gifts

Adopters will also receive a variety of free gifts for participating in the event.  Through a partnership with Ortho Mattress, those taking home a cat or dog will receive one of the specially produced 500 pet beds. For those visitors who don’t take home a new animal on Dec. 17, the company will provide a certificate to be redeemed at any Ortho Mattress location in Los Angeles.  In addition, adopters will also receive goodie bags filled with coupons and pet food samples courtesy of Hills Pet Nutrition.

This Year's Goal: 500 Pet Adoptions

. Found Animals hopes that even more loving homes are found this year with a goal of 500 pets adopted at this year’s Whisker Wonderland.

To call this "rag" a newspaper is a joke. They only put partial truths, always sided to aRead More covert friend of the writer and never have done the background investigation to be able to establish validity!
