Cerritos Resident Asks: Have You Seen My Dog Mogley?

Mogley, a brown and white Lab/Pit bull mix, went missing on Aug. 5.

UPDATE 8-11-11: Good news! Sanders emailed Patch earlier today to say he located Mogley at Pet Harbor shelter services in Long Beach.

Cerritos resident, Trey Sanders, hopes that by spreading the word of his lost dog via the Internet, he'll be reunited with his pal who's been missing since last Friday.

"I lost my dog Mogley," Sanders told Patch. "I really want to find him."

Sanders said he lost Mogley in a neighborhood near Carmenita Road and Artesia Boulevard at about 11:45pm on Aug 5. The dog apparently became startled by something, which led to a chase.

"He broke off his collar," Sanders said. "He was scared of something and I chased him on foot for half an hour."

Mogley is described as a light brown and white Lab/Pit bull mix. He has floppy ears and white fur on his chest and nose.

Anyone with information on Mogley should email Patch editor MarieSam Sanchez at mariesam@patch.com. All emails and information received will be forwarded to the dog's owner.
