City and Cerritos Sheriff's Station Employees Donate Gifts to Families for the Holidays

The donations were distributed through local organizations to help local families in need.

City of Cerritos and Cerritos Sheriff's Station employees donated more than 250 gifts and $500 in gift cards to help families in need during the holiday season.

The gifts, which employees brought to the employee holiday luncheon, will be distributed through the Artesia Cerritos Community Christmas Program, the Cerritos Red Bucket program, Cerritos Optimist Club's Needy Family Project, Salvation Army, and Wish Upon a Hero Program.

“I'm proud of the generosity and kindness shown by City employees,” said Cerritos Mayor Jim Edwards. “Our staff does a wonderful job throughout the year and their dedication and concern for the community helps makes Cerritos a special place.”
