In celebration of Cow Appreciation Day, Chick-Fil-A offered free food to customers that dressed up like cows on July 8th. Patrons in full, head-to-toe cow costumes were awarded a free meal while those that came in partial costumes received a free entree.
At the Cerritos Chick-Fil-A location, "cows" were given a warm welcome, as staff would cheer and ring bells as each black and white customer arrived.
The day brought in some beautiful bovine costumes, including a local theater troupe that pulled a life-size cow statue into the parking lot. Other cows got their spots from local face paint artist, Ace of Faces.
When asked how many cows mosied through the Cerritos location, Chick-Fil-A staff stressed that it was "a lot!"
Congratulations to all the local cows that scored free food. Please enjoy the photos of just a few of the costumed cows. If you missed out on this amazing event, we will be sure to see you next year!
