Enjoy the Community Spring Festival at Cerritos Regional Park Starting Today

The city's annual 3-day festival will be held from April 27 to April 29. Here's a list of the the weekend's festivities and programs along with a menu of food vendors participating in this year's celebration.

The community is invited to enjoy a weekend celebrating family, food and fun during the annual Community Spring Festival at starting today.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. Friday, April 27 and last through the evening of Sunday, April 29.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of game booths, rides, entertainment, Classic Car display, and the always impressive Saturday night fireworks show.

Residents are also invited to peruse through the Town Hall display on Saturday between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to speak to representatives about the many services and programs offered by the city of Cerritos.

From noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, car enthusiasts can check out the Classic Car display, which will feature a plethora of classic makes and models.

And of course all locals are invited to stick around to help celebrate the city's 56th Birthday by watching the fireworks show starting at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

An abundance of local entertainment will also be showcased on the Main Stage throughout the weekend, including entertainment from local talent in the Spring Dance Recital starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

But what is a festival without good food? Community organizations, local eateries and food trucks will be on-site selling delicious treats in the Taste of Cerritos area throughout the weekend. The food vendors and their scheduled times on the grounds are as follows:

Friday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • Amie’s Funnel Cakes -- Funnel Cakes, Hawaiian Shaved Ice
  • Casa Sanchez #4 -- Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Rice, Beans

Saturday, Noon to 6 p.m.

  •  -- Pizza, Pasta, Sub Sandwiches
  • Amie’s Funnel Cakes -- Funnel Cakes, Hawaiian Shaved Ice
  • Casa Sanchez #4 -- Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Rice, Beans
  • -- Smoothies
  • Chronic Tacos -- Tacos, Beans, Rice, Chips & Salsa
  • -- Pasta, Salad, Peach Tea
  • Delta Sigma Theta -- Popcorn, Candy
  • Girls Soccer -- Snow Cones
  • Girl Scout Troop 1403 -- Caramel Apples

Sunday, Noon to 6 p.m

  •  -- Pizza, Pasta, Sub Sandwiches
  • Amie’s Funnel Cakes -- Funnel Cakes, Hawaiian Shaved Ice

Sunday Food Trucks, Noon to 6 p.m.

How Much Does It Cost to Attend the Festival?

Admittance to the festivities are free, although certain attractions and activities require a nominal fee.

The festival hours are as follows:

  • Friday, April 27, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 28, noon to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 29, noon to 9 p.m.

Carnival ride prices are:

  • All Day Ride Wristband - $25
  • 20 Ticket Coupon Book - $14
  • Individual Tickets - $1

Please note pursuant to the Cerritos Municipal Code, dogs are not allowed during special events. Smoking is also prohibited at all city parks.
