Got Questions for The Mayor? Attend Tonight's Artesia Town Hall Meeting

Artesia residents and business owners are encouraged to participate in tonight's Town Hall meeting at the Albert O'Little Community Center.

In an effort to provide a more personal setting for Artesia residents and business owners who wish to speak with the City Council about their issues and concerns, the City will be hosting its second Town Hall meeting at 8:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, May 18) at the .

In the previous , Artesia Mayor Victor Manalo pointed out that these meetings were vital to ensuring a transparent municipality.

“We’re holding these events to let people know the state of the City and what’s going on,” the mayor said.

Topics discussed during the first meeting included the City's 2010-11 general funds, and the current status of redevelopment funds, along with several city projects.
