Co-owner of Crepes Bonaparte, Danielle Murcia, who also helps organize the weekly food truck event, told Patch that the crepes truck will not be on location tonight because it is already scheduled to be elsewhere. However, the delicious sweet and savory crepes truck will indeed be part of the weekly gatherings in the future.

Each mobile vendor will also be donating part of its proceeds to the school, Murcia said.

The event, which first began at the Cerritos parking lot in mid April, spread like wildfire in popularity with locals eagerly anticipating the dinnertime bonanza.

In its last gathering on May 25, at least 1,000 diners patiently waited in long lines during the three hour period. Parking in the Best Buy lot was scarce with several attendees tailgating with lawn chairs and enjoying their dining purchases under the night's sky.

The Wednesday night feature was canceled indefinitely on June 1 because the location could no longer accomodate the large crowds.

"I'm stoked the event is back," said Cerritos resident Sharon Williams. "I can't wait to eat tonight!"
