Halloween Night Events in Cerritos and Artesia

Looking for something to do with the kids this Wednesday, Oct. 31? Here's your neighborhood guide to make it an extra fun Halloween night!

HALLOWEEN FESTIVAL AT CERRITOS REGIONAL PARK

Halloween Festival

The city of Cerritos invites the community to participate in the annual Halloween Festival at Cerritos Regional Park on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Costume parades, entertainment, rides, special games and carnival booths will be featured.

There is no fee to attend the festival, although a small fee will be charged for food and rides.

Reminder: For the enjoyment of all and pursuant to the Cerritos Municipal Ordinance 9.48.030(p), dogs, cats or pets are not allowed in the park during special events and concerts. Smoking is prohibited within the boundaries of all City of Cerritos public park facilities, pursuant to the Cerritos Municipal Ordinance 9.49.020.

Haunted House
The city will offer a maze of wicked ghouls and ugly monsters at this year's Haunted House from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is $2 per person. Children under 8 years of age will not be admitted unless accompanied by an adult.

Happy Haunt Fun Zone
Children ages 5 years and under are invited to enjoy a safe night of Halloween fun from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Games, crafts and entertainment will be provided.

Family Fun Stage
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., families are invited to participate in stage activities or visit a fortune teller. Costume parades and group and individual challenges will be held throughout the evening for participants ages 12 and over. All stage activities are free.

SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN EVENT AT ARTESIA PARK

Artesia's Spooktacular Halloween Event will be held on Monday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Artesia Park.

Parents are encouraged to bring children of all ages to participate in the games and Trunk-or-Treat event.

In addition to trunk-or-treating, youth 13 and under are also eligible to try their hand at the carnival game challenges to win Halloween goodies.   

Children and Adults of all ages are also eligible to compete in the annual costume contests and ghoulish limbo games.  

The Artesia/Cerritos Lions Club will provide hot dogs to attendees while supplies last.  

Parents are encouraged to bring children of all ages to participate in this fun community event!
