It's Bargain Books Galore at the Cerritos Library Fall Book Sale This Weekend

If you're in search of a new literary adventure, then circle this weekend on your calendar for the Friends of the Cerritos Library's biannual book sale.

From Oct. 21 to Oct. 23, the Friends will host their Fall Book Sale in the Skyline Room of the . Used books and VHS movies, either donated by community members or withdrawn from the library collection, will be available for purchase at prices you just can't beat, ranging from $0.25 to $2.00 with their special "$2 a bag sale" on Sunday.

The popular bargain book bonanza is held in Spring and Fall of each year, and profits from the sales help fund the many programs, projects and events at the Library.

"We make about $6,000 total with both sales," said Friends' President Janice Dawson said during the Spring book sale. "So you can imagine that's a lot of books we're selling!"

The Fall Book Sale hours are as follows:

• Members-Only Presale: Friday, Oct. 21 from 6pm to 8pm
• Sale Open to the Publc: Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9pm to 3pm
• Fill A Bag for $2: Sunday, Oct. 23 from 1:30pm to 3pm
