Miss Artesia Pageant Seeks Participants

The pageant, along with the Miss Artesia Teen pageant, will take place June 1.

It's almost time again for the annual Miss Artesia and Miss Artesia Teen pageants. Young women interested in participating can submit applications through April 11.

The pageant itself is not until June 1, but a mandatory orientation is scheduled for 6 p.m. April 11 at the Albert O. Little Community Center, Room A, 18750 Clarkdale Ave., Artesia.

Pageant contestants will be scored on a personal interview, personal introduction and speech, evening gown and on stage question.
