New Playground Equipment to be Installed at Gridley Park
A playground facelift at Gridley Park will give kids something to smile about this Spring.
New playground equipment is expected to be installed at in Cerritos this month, according to the City.
The City Council recently awarded a $9,495 contract to Creative Contractors Corporation for the installation of the equipment, which includes two new play structures and a swingset.
The park's new equipment manufactured by GameTime adheres to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Consumer Product Safety Commission. GameTime equipment is currently installed at , , and .

When told of the soon-to-be new play area, an eager 6-year-old who frequents the neighborhood park with his baby sister and grandma expressed his delight, and a little impatience.
"Yeah! It's going to be so much fun!" said Eugene. "But when is it going to be here? Is it soon?"
