Public Invited to Halloween Fundraiser at B&B Stables in Cerritos

The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27 to benefit the Ride Your Horse Therapy Program. The festivities include a BBQ lunch, Halloween costumes with horses also dressed up with their riders, games and entertainment.

The Ride Your Horse Therapy Program will be hosting a Halloween fundraiser at B&B Stables in Cerritos on Saturday, Oct 27 to help raise money for the therapeutic riding program.

The event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., features a BBQ lunch, Halloween costumes with horses dressed up along with their riders (kids are encouraged to come in their costumes as well), and a horsemanship demo with Two Hearts Natural Horsemanship.

"The horsemanship demo will be at noon when everyone breaks for lunch," said Rachael Brouelette, an instructor with Two Hearts and volunteer with the RYH program. The demo will feature a horse that is in need of a home, she added.

There will also be a series of events, also known as gymkhana games, that consists of speed pattern racing and timed games for riders on horses.

This event is free to attend, but those who choose to participate in a riding class or decide to rent a horse from the therapy program will pay a small fee.

All the money raised will go toward the Ride Your Hose Therapy Program. B&B Stables is located at 10730 Artesia Blvd. in Cerritos.

When it comes to the FREE newspaper (or anything else that's free) -- the old saying applies: YouRead More get what you pay for.

To call this "rag" a newspaper is a joke. They only put partial truths, always sided to aRead More covert friend of the writer and never have done the background investigation to be able to establish validity!
