Repavement Project Keeps Cerritos High Food Truck Rally on Standby Until Aug. 18

A repavement project at Cerritos High School will keep the popular Thursday night food truck gathering at bay for two weeks.

Cerritos and Artesia food truck fans will have to wait two weeks to get their dose of the popular Thursday night food gathering at Cerritos High School due to an ongoing construction project at the school.

"The school will be repaving their lot during the first two weeks of August, so there will be no trucks there those weeks," Danielle Murcia, co-owner of Crepes Bonaparte told Patch.

The parking lot project had already been calendared when rally organizers planned out their Thursday night schedule at the school in July.

But foodies need not worry, because the ever-popular Thursday dining event will be back in full force on Aug. 18. Some of vendors set to participate that evening include Crepes Bonaparte, White Rabbit, Calbi BBQ and The Yummy One.

In the meantime, local diners are encouraged to visit one of the great restaurants in the neighborhood. Click on Cerritos-Artesia Patch's Food & Dining Section to peruse through a directory of all the exceptional restaurants and eateries in the area. And make sure you tell us your favorite!
