SoCal Edison Power Outages Planned for Portions of Cerritos on Tuesday & Thursday

Power will be interrupted for more than 625 utility customers on April 24 and 26 collectively.

Southern California Edison will be launching two planned power outages on Tuesday and Thursday that will disrupt service for several hundred Cerritos customers, according to the city of Cerritos.

The first outage will take place today in an area north of South Street, between Vickie and Jeffrey avenues, affecting 608 residential and eight commercial customers, including two city-owned irrigation accounts. Traffic signals will not be affected during this period.

Thursday's outage will take place between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 17900 block of Gerritt Place, located north of on 183rd Street, impacting 17 residential customers.

All affected residents and businesses have been notified of these outages, according to the utility company.
