Despite her young age, Tammy has seen some tough times. She came to the shelter with an abscess, but the kind staff at the Downey Shelter has since nursed her back to health. Now, this super sweet kitten is ready for adoption! Tammy is extremely affectionate and simply loves people.

"Chabelita" is a Spanish name derived from "Elizabeth," meaning "God's promise." This little Chabelita was relinquished by her owners and is waiting to find a new family. She gets along with other dogs, though she prefers the company of similarly mature and calm canines. Chabelita loves to be close by your side and she would made a great companion for an adult home.
