Cerritos Library Forum Showcases African American Authors

Reading enthusiasts gathered to listen to an afternoon forum featuring a collection of African American authors at the Cerritos Library.

On March 11, The Links, Incorporated Orange County Chapter, Arts Facet partnered with the  for a special opportunity to showcase several African American authors, including Gina Carroll, Rashad Harrison, Whitney LeBlanc, Darryl Littleton, Hexin E. McPhee and Connie Rice.

The goal of this event was to provide a forum for prominent and up and coming African-American authors in which they are able to discuss their literary works, in addition to sharing their experiences as authors via panel discussions.

Each author had an opportunity to share their books and entertain the audience with humor, historical facts, intriguing fiction and poetry; each with their own personality flair.

It was an afternoon enjoyed by all.
