A Cerritos deputy nabbed two individuals in near Reservoir Park in Cerritos today after he determined that the pair were riding in a vehicle reported stolen from the city of Riverside.
At about 11 a.m. Friday, a deputy with the Cerritos Residential Burglary Team was patrolling the area near the park at 16807 Studebaker Rd. and spotted two suspicious individuals in a white Honda Prelude, according to Sgt. Ramirez at the Cerritos Sheriff's Station.
The deputy ran the car's plates and determined it was reported stolen from Riverside, said Ramirez.
The two suspects were taken into custody, the sergeant added. Their names were not immediately released.
