1982 Prices at Ruby's Diner on Friday

The 1950s-themed red and white restaurants in Southern California are rolling back prices to mark three decades as a family-owned chain named after Mom.

In honor of its 30th birthday as one of Southern California's most iconic family-owned restaurant chains, Ruby's Diner will be charging 1982 menu prices on Friday.

Two bucks for two eggs, anyone? Plus, there's the Original RubyBurger for $2.15

There are two Ruby's Diner locations in the South Bay: one in the Redondo Beach Marina and the other at the Promenade on the Peninsula.

To find the nearest Ruby's, click here. Excluded from the offer are the airport location and Shake Shack. The original 1982 opening day menu prices will be served from 7 a.m. until closing.

Thanks for the info.....received via email the day AFTER the event. You guys have done this before. Do you think you can possibly do a bit better next time?

Hi Mark, I apologize. I should have taken it out of the newsletter. I do my best not to include posts promoting events that have already happened; however, some slip through. In the future, you're welcome to visit the site at any time during the day. This was posted at about 1 p.m., so there was plenty of time to head on down to Ruby's between then and closing!

Nicole,...thanks for the reply. But even same day is kind of tight. Any chance something like this can be posted at least a day or two before?

Hi Mark, When I know about it a day or two before, I'll post it usually the day before. This one I didn't know about.

Got it. I understand you do the best you can. Thanks again for replying so promptly.
