Lazy Dog Cafe Seeks Nominations for Philanthropy Award

Do you know someone who volunteers their time to help others? If so, nominate that person for the Spirit of Philanthropy Award by Sunday, March 6.

The Los Cerritos Center's newest sit-down eatery is on the hunt for individuals in the community who stand a notch above the rest.

Do you volunteer your time to help others?  Support a nonprofit?  Work a phone bank for a special cause?  Devote your energy or resources in service to those less fortunate? If so, you may be the perfect candidate for the Lazy Dog Cerritos Spirit of Philanthropy Award.

The Lazy Dog Cafe, located next to Nordstrom, will open its doors on Wednesday, March 9. The 287-seat establishment set in 7,500 square feet of interior space is the eighth location of the Southern California concept restaurant.

As part of the grand opening celebration, the restaurant will be saluting a local hero with the philanthropic award. One nominee will be chosen for the award and will be honored at a private Spirit of Philanthropy luncheon.  They will receive a plaque, a Lazy Dog Gift Basket with a $150 gift card, and a food donation for their cause.

Those living in or around the Cerritos area who donate their valuable time to help improve the quality of life in their community are eligible.
