Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program, and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.

Anytime is a good time for a bargain, but when times are tough, bargain hunting is essential. How do you stretch a dollar, and where do you spend it?

  • Dollar Tree
  • The 99 Cent Store
  • Big Lots

Vote for your favorite in the poll below, and don't forget to leave a comment below about it! We'll break ties by looking at the number of positive comments for each business. i usually do the decorating at my job. i hit the dollar store first. this is my route for bargain hunting for crafts: dollar store, 99 cent store, big lots, walmart, michael's (long beach). for every day items like toiletries and stuff i go to walmart. for bigger ticket items like a lounge chair or something i go to big lots before i go to walmart. if i don't find anything in either i go to target.

I've noticed that a lot of people take jobs in food service while they pursue long-term jobs thatRead More match their field of study. If they do, they need to be certified in food safety. They can learn about this at http://www.SafeFoodAcademy.com.
