Sample Cerritos Restaurants, Explore Local Businesses at Upcoming Expo

Approximately 20 restaurants and 80 businesses will soon be on hand at a longtime annual event put on by the local chamber of commerce.

The Taste of the Region & Business Expo is hosted by the Cerritos Regional Chamber of Commerce and planned for Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.


"This one-day event is dedicated to ‘Cuisine, Culture, and Commerce’ and showcases the best of the region’s food, music, restaurants, and local 
businesses," an announcement from the chamber states.

Previous years' events have seen more than 1,000 people in attendance.

The event costs $5 to attend for those older than five-years-old, which will get you a wristband for "all-access restaurant tastings."  Parking is free.  You can also pay a little more, $20, to get into the "VIP Lounge."

In addition to the 20 attending restaurants and 80 business exhibitor booths, there will be live music, raffle drawings and auto displays.

The Chamber has been hosting the Business Expo for more than 17 years now. During that time, the event was moved to the CCPA and the Taste of the Region element was added to the Expo in 2007.
