Support Our Troops, Buy a Coffee Drink

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will donate $1 from each sale of any $2 - 12oz. Ice Blended® drink to Operation Homefront on July 4th.

Why not start Independence Day with a refreshing 12-ounce Ice Blended® coffee drink for only $2. If you do, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will donate $1 to Operation Homefront for U.S. troops and their families.

The Los Angeles-based coffee and tea retailer is launching their “Support at Home” program to raise funds for the non-profit organization, which provides emergency financial aid and support to families of service members and wounded warriors. The program kicks off July 4th and will run through August 5th.

  • The closest Coffee Bean for Cerritos and Artesia locals is located at the Bloomfield Place center on the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Artesia Boulevard in Cerritos. For more information on today's special go to Coffee Bean at 2550 Artesia Blvd. or call (562) 865-9713. Click here for a list of other Coffee Bean locations nearest to you.

To build upon the momentum from last year’s successful program, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will be offering customers three ways to support its new “Support at Home” cause.

Along with its July 4th Ice Blended® drink special, which includes new summer flavors Cookies & Cream and Mocha Mudslide, the retailer will donate $1 from each sale of its limited edition “Support at Home” coffee blend, a pre-ground blend that combines Sumatra and Brazil coffees to create a medium dark roast product. The coffee will be available for $9.95 in participating stores and online while supplies last.

In addition, customers who purchase the “Support at Home” retail coffee can request that the bag be donated directly to returning troops and their families. Each package features a blank surface on the back of the label where customers can write a heart-felt message to the recipient.

“We’re proud to debut our ‘Support at Home’ program with the help of our loyal customers whose generosity has made ‘Support from Home’ such a great success in past years,” says Mel Elias, president and CEO of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. “We hope the bags of coffee and donations bring our servicemen and women and their families comfort in knowing that we as a nation are humbled by their dedication to our country.”

I've noticed that a lot of people take jobs in food service while they pursue long-term jobs thatRead More match their field of study. If they do, they need to be certified in food safety. They can learn about this at http://www.SafeFoodAcademy.com.
