Hello Kitty Comes to Yogurtland and She's Got Free Spoons

Frozen yogurt fanatics fill local stores in support of Sanrio's special promotion.

Hello Kitty Merchandise Now at Yogurtland

A cool neighborhood treat just got a little more purr-fect.

On July 21 Yogurtland launched their in-store partnership with Sanrio, the proprietors of the world famous Hello Kitty brand. This special promotion has frozen-yogurt fans lining up at more than 135 locations across the U.S. and in Guam, Mexico, and Japan.

What was already a popular local frozen treat shop, the  has seen even more traffic since the unveiling of the Hello Kitty merchandise. Even as late as 10:30 pm on a weeknight, the lines at the Artesia store reached the very back of the building. The  also houses a  as well as a separate Sanrio store.

Free Sanrio Spoons with Purchase

As part of its new Hello Kitty campaign, the frozen yogurt franchise is now offering Sanrio merchandise for sale in their store. Participating locations are also offering special edition Sanrio spoons that come free with each edible purchase. For now, these spoons bare the images of Hello Kitty and Chococat. After August 11th, My Melody and Keroppi spoons will also be available. In addition to these keepsakes, the Artesia Yogurtland also gives patrons a photo opportunity for those celebrating the special Sanrio celebration.

Yogurtland Serves Up Lots of Options

Cute characters aside, Yogurtland makes for a unique experience as well as a delightful dessert.

In the store's self-serve set-up, patrons have the opportunity to mix and match the available flavors in the signature one-size only cups. Once cups are filled with the yogurt and toppings of your choice, the cups are weighed by the cashier for pricing. Not only is this method quick and efficient, but it also allows unlimited, guilt-free taste testing for Yogurtland newbies and those that are simply hungry and undecided.

Taste tests may seem excessive, but with dozens of flavors available on any given day plus new flavors always being added to the rotation, free samples are a convenient way for the public to quench their curiosities.

Frozen yogurt flavors include everything from plain tart to more complex tastes like New York Cheesecake, Double Cookies and Cream, and (my personal favorite) Mango. Some of the newest flavors include Dragon Passion Tart and Caramel Almond Bar.

Even more numerous than the yogurt flavors is the wide variety of toppings such as fresh fruit, caramel, candies, and nuts just to name a few.

With so many tastes and textures to choose from, this neighborhood treat is sure to cure any craving.
