Local Takes on New Position at Union Bank's Consumer Lending Group in Cerritos
Cerritos resident, John Durkin, takes on a newly created position in Union Bank's Consumer Lending group in Cerritos.
Union Bank, N.A. recently announced the hire of John Durkin, a Cerritos resident, who has joined the bank’s Consumer Lending group as a mortgage consultant based in Cerritos.
In this newly created position with the company, Durkin is responsible for assisting the bank’s new and existing clients with their personal mortgage needs and loan originations.
“John has a proven track record as a mortgage consultant and extensive experience in consumer lending in the Cerritos community,” said Regional Vice President Darren Siegrist.

A California State University Long Beach graduate with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Durkin has seven years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining , he served as a mortgage consultant for Luxury Home Capital and Meritage Commercial Capital.
“With John’s mortgage expertise and focus on client service, we are confident that we will continue to expand our business while meeting the needs of our new and existing clients who are looking for a home loan,” Siegrist added.
