Wells Fargo Bank in Artesia Closes, Merges with Cerritos Location

The closure was effective on Sept. 28 -- all accounts opened at the Artesia location will automatically be moved to the Cerritos banking location.

Wells Fargo Bank at the corner of Pioneer Boulevard and 183rd Street permanently shut it doors last week, carrying out plans to consolidate with Wells Fargo bank in Cerritos.

The banking facility at 18300 Pioneer Boulevard first notified customers of its plans to close down in a July letter.

"Our Artesia store will close permanently at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012. The ATM will remain in service after the store closes," the letter reads. "Serving you remains our top priority as we complete this transition, and we'll do everything we can to make it as easy as possible for you."
