The city of Cerritos and its surrounding communities are well-known for a thriving business landscape and vast array of dining options, and on Thursday, Sept. 15, some of the region’s best will be on display at the .
This longtime annual event, which will be held from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the , is dedicated to ‘Cuisine, Culture, and Commerce’.
"This is one of the most popular events of the year,” said Catherine Gaughen, Executive Director of the . “With over 1,000 people in attendance, it is a great way to sample cuisine from local restaurants, network with regional businesses, listen to great music, and experience amazing culture, cuisine, and commerce that the Cerritos Region has to offer!"
Admission to the one-day event is $5 and includes an all-access wristband for restaurant tastings to more than 20 local restaurants. Parking is free and patrons are advised to arrive early.
More than 75 exhibitor booths will be on display at the Expo, including , , Golf N' Stuff, Chronic Tacos, , , , , , , , Tri-City Regional Medical Center, , , Costco, and -- just to name a few.
Cerritos-Artesia Patch will also have a booth at the Expo, where visitors can meet the Patch staff and enjoy fun giveaways.
Besides being able to peruse through the food and business booths, attendees can also listen to live musical performances by pianist Fran Newman, piano and violin compositions by Capriccio Duo, and the soothing sounds of strings and jazz musicians from Cerritos College.
The Chamber has been hosting the Business Expo for more than 15 years now. During that time, the event was moved to the CCPA and the Taste of the Region element was added to the Expo in 2007.
