The Indian eatery in the city of Artesia was shut down for more than a year while it underwent a major renovation project.

After closing its doors to undergo a renovation project for more than a year, Woodlands Restaurant in Artesia has finally re-opened for business.

On June 28, husband and wife team Kerman and Arnavaz Dungore hosted the Grand Opening of their restaurant and Artesia mayor Sally Flowers cut the celebratory ribbon signifying the eatery's new launch.

Woodlands Indian Cuisine, which is located at 11833 Artesia Blvd., features South Indian foods, and is a local attraction for vegetarians. In addition to a full-service bar, the restaurant also offers catering and is available for private parties.
