Free. California State University Long Beach’s annual Pow Wow returns to the campus’ Central Quad, Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.  Native American dancing, art and food.

Free: The Artesia Youth Safety Expo 2011, Saturday, March 12, at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. brings together various public agencies offering safety tips for youth.  Kids can take a bicycle safety ride from A.J. Padelford Park to Artesia Park and watch BMX stunts.
