Paving Project to Shut Down I-5 Freeway Overnight

Cerritos-Artesia motorists may be affected by the early Thursday closure.

The northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway be closed between Valley View and Rosecrans avenues from about midnight until 5 a.m. Thursday to accommodate paving crews, according to Caltrans.

The connector from the westbound Artesia (91) Freeway to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway also will be closed, as will the on-ramps at Valley View Avenue, Alondra Boulevard and Carmenita Road.

Traffic will be taken off the westbound 91 and routed onto the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, then back to the northbound 5 freeway.

Six broken slabs of pavement are being repaired.

I live off Studebaker by Liberty and our gardener does a good job, he does 4 houses Monday…Read More mornings--I think my parents pay for basic and its weekly and I believe only $40.00; I see that he comes back on Tues and Fri to water and do additional things for the neighbor across the street-and whenever I ask him to help me maintenance some tree branches etc, he always does without any issue. His name is Jose and if interested I can get his # tomorrow
