Looking for a Scare? Cerritos Deputies Unveil 'Haunted Jail' for Halloween

There will be a kid-friendly Halloween-themed fair with jumpers, face painting, crafts, and candy. A scary tour of the haunted jail with frightening jail cells and special effects will be available for the older crowd.

The following is an announcement from the Cerritos Sheriff's Station: 

On Saturday, October 26, 2013, Cerritos Sheriff’s Station will be hosting its first annual “Haunted Jail” for Halloween. 

 

There will be a kid-friendly Halloween-themed fair with jumpers, face painting, crafts, and candy.

A scary tour of the haunted jail with frightening jail cells and special effects will be available for the older crowd.  The jail will be haunted by station volunteers, explorer scouts and deputy personnel donating their time.  The station is accepting $2 donations for the haunted jail event.

The event runs from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cerritos Station, 18135 Bloomfield Avenue.  Come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume (no weapons please) and join in the fun with your local law enforcers.
