Business Recognition

Helpline Youth Counseling would like to recognize the businesses who participated in our Responsible Beverage Service training on December 9, 2013.  Responsible beverage service training helps businesses keep our youth safe by preventing alcohol sales to minors, and we really appreciate the involvement of the following businesses:

·         Casa Adelita 1, 2 and 4

·         The Torch Room

Helpline Youth Counseling will continue to provide FREE responsible beverage service training throughout the year. Some of the information covered in the training includes.

1.    The importance of checking identification of customers who appear under 30

2.    Ability to recognize a false or altered identification card, how to report them, and what the regulations are for confiscating ID’s.

3.    Understanding relevant state laws and regulations in administration, criminal and civil liability and local ordinance requirements.

4.    Understanding how these laws pertain to the alcoholic beverage server

5.    Ability to understand and execute policies related to proper age identification and intervention with an intoxicated or underage customer.
