Active Shooter Drill to Be Held at Gahr High School

A shooting will be simulated Tuesday at the school.

The Cerritos Sheriff’s Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department on Tuesday will hold an active shooter response drill at Gahr High School in Cerritos.

Teachers, students and parents will participate in the drill at the school, located at 11111 Artesia Boulevard. Members of the Cerritos Station Clergy Council, as well as Cerritos Station volunteers will also participate.

A shooting will be simulated at the school and deputies and fire officials will respond. Gunfire and explosions will also be incorporated, as well as simulated injuries.
