Cerritos Burglary Team Captures Two Suspects Fleeing from Crime Scene

Deputies from the Cerritos Residential Burglary Team captured two suspects trying to flee shortly after receiving a report of a burglary in progress today.

The burglary was reported about 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 13400 block of Park Street, Lt. Jeff Deedrick of the Cerritos Sheriff's Station told Patch.

The burglary team quickly responded to the location and nabbed two men in a red car fleeing from the location, Deedrick said.

The pair was apprehended by deputies on Norwalk Boulevard just north of 166th Street, the lieutenant added.

It was unclear whether the pair took anything from the residence, and if so, whether the stolen items were recovered.
