Cerritos Crime: Six Residential Break-Ins Reported from April 22 to 28

An average of 5.2 Cerritos homes are being broken into each week in 2013, according to the Cerritos Sheriff's Station.

The following crimes were reported to the Cerritos Sheriff's Station during the period of April 22 to 28.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

Residential burglaries were up from five to six during this period compared to the week before. Three homes were entered via open/unlocked doors or windows. Two windows were smashed and one was pried open. Laptop computers, iPads, jewelry, a stove and a dishwasher were missing. The 2013 weekly average in residential burglaries remained at 5.2.
