Cerritos Sheriff's Station Receives Prestigious Award
The station was named 'Top Performing Station' by the Contract Cities Association.
The Cerritos Sheriff's Station was recently recognized as a top performing station by the Contract Cities Association.
The award, which is based on the lack of crime, arrests, population, liability and the great work of dedicated personnel, was presented on Aug. 6 by Risk Management Bureau to Capt. Keith Swensson, who replaced the now-retired Capt. Joe Gonzales at the end of 2012.
