Coroner Identifies Man Killed in Friday Morning Traffic Accident

The victim was seven days from his 23rd birthday at the time of his death.

The Orange County Coroner's Office Saturday identified a 22-year-old man killed during a two-vehicle crash in Cerritos.

Marc Gomez, a resident of Norwalk, was a passenger in an auto involved in a crash with a pickup truck about 3:50 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Artesia Boulevard and Marquardt Avenue, according to a department statement.

Paramedics rushed Gomez to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m. Friday.

Gomez was seven days from his 23rd birthday at the time of his death, according to the Orange County Coroner's Office.
