FBI Needs Help Locating 'Quad Bandit' who Robbed Bank in Cerritos

Authorities today sought public help to find the so-called Quad Bandit, who targeted four banks on a single day in Buena Park, and who also robbed or tried to rob five others in Orange and Los Angeles counties since then.

The most recent crime was on Wednesday, when the man robbed a Union Bank in Anaheim Hills, Laura Eimiller of the FBI said.

On March 22 in Buena Park, he robbed a Chase Bank, and he tried to rob another Chase Bank, a Wells Fargo Bank, and a Bank of America, Eimiller said.

On June 16 in Cerritos, he robbed a Chase Bank, and he tried to rob a Wells Fargo Bank, Eimiller said.

He robbed a U.S. Bank in La Habra on July 3, an Opus Bank in Anaheim on July 15, and a Union Bank in Anaheim Hills on Wednesday.

The man was described as white, about 40-50 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 150-160 pounds. He has "dirty blond" hair and a goatee, and he wore sunglasses during his crimes. Also, wore various baseball caps, including a Los Angeles Dodgers cap.

Anyone knowing more about the case was urged to call the FBI.
