A swarm of students were gathered at the Chevron gas station near Gahr High School today during a fight between two male students.
The crowd gathered at the gas station located at 11355 Artesia Blvd. just after school was dismissed Thursday afternoon, indicating that the fight was likely planned. The Cerritos Sheriff's Station was alerted of the incident shortly before 1 p.m.
When deputies arrived at the location, "everyone was running in different directions," said sheriff's Sgt. Joe Fleischmann, adding that deputies then disbursed the group.
No injuries were reported, the sergeant added.
