Updated: Lakewood Sheriff's Pursuit Ends in Crash in Norwalk

Lakewood Sheriff's deputies were in pursuit of the driver of a stolen vehicle who ended up crashing into a Mini Cooper in Norwalk.

Three people were in custody after a stolen car being chased by deputies from the Lakewood Sheriff's Station crashed into another car in Norwalk Tuesday night.

The chase began about 9 p.m. Dec. 4 and ended about 15 minutes later with the collision at Horst Avenue and Alondra Boulevard, said sheriff's Lt. Joseph Nicassio.

One person inside the Mini Cooper that was hit was hurt. The three suspects inside the stolen vehicle were taken in custody by deputies.

The chase was initiated because the Honda had been reported stolen, Nicassio added.

When it comes to the FREE newspaper (or anything else that's free) -- the old saying applies: YouRead More get what you pay for.

To call this "rag" a newspaper is a joke. They only put partial truths, always sided to aRead More covert friend of the writer and never have done the background investigation to be able to establish validity!
