Man Escapes Injury in Artesia Driveby

The shooting was reported about 7:20 p.m. in the 18400 block of Ibex Avenue, in Artesia.

A man escaped injury Sunday night when he was targeted in a driveby shooting, a lieutenant told Patch.

The shooting was reported about 7:20 p.m. in the 18400 block of Ibex Avenue, Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Eric Lindblom told Patch.

The original call came in as an assault with a deadly weapon, he said.

There were four men in the vehicle, described as a Honda sedan with black rims, the lieutenant said.

Sheriff's detectives were investigating, Lindblom said.
