Man Killed Outside Strip Mall on Cerritos Ave. in Stanton

Sheriff's officials are investigating the weekend death of a man outside a Santon strip mall.

Francisco Salgado Torres, 48, of Anaheim, was shot multiple times about 2 a.m. Sunday outside the Oasis bar at the intersection of Cerritos and Knott Avenues, Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

Torres got into some sort of altercation in front of the bar before the shots rang out, Hallock said.  It was unclear what motivated the conflict, he said.

No arrests have been made.
