Man Robs CVS; Takes Money, Beef Jerky, Beer

Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a CVS store taking cash, beef jerky, and a 12-pack of Miller Lite.

Police in neighboring La Mirada are looking for a man who they say walked into a CVS store, showed the cashier a handgun, and then walked away with $200 in cash, a 12-pack of Miller Lite, and some beef jerkey.

Police say on Monday, a man walked up to the register in the CVS store at 13525 Beach Blvd. in La Mirada where he first paid for his beer and then showed the cashier a black handgun and demanded she hand over the cash in the register.

The man then fled from the store on foot and police say no vehicle was spotted.

The suspect is described as a 6 foot, 200 pound black male, aged 40-45 years old, wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, gray cotton pants, and a red Nike baseball cap.
