Cerritos Man Caught with Stolen LASD Radio and Police Lights Arrested in Nevada

The 35-year-old local was also found in possession of stolen golf equipment.

Nevada police have arrested a 35-year-old Cerritos man who was found in possession of a Los Angles County Sheriff's Department's radio and flashing police lights.

Michael Anthony Kearns has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, battery, possession of stolen property and impersonating an officer, according to the Associated Press.

He is also accused of stealing golf equipment, including clubs, from two Nevada golf shops.

According to the AP, Mesquite police responded to a call of a fight at Ready Golf & Gear Wednesday, Nov. 7 between the suspect and the owner of the store, where the clubs were stolen. After breaking up the fight, officers searched the suspect's rental car and recovered stolen police equipment along with other items allegedly taken from another golf shop -- Zion Gold in St. George -- earlier that day.

Kearns is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

To call this "rag" a newspaper is a joke. They only put partial truths, always sided to aRead More covert friend of the writer and never have done the background investigation to be able to establish validity!
