Fiery Crash on 91 Freeway in Buena Park Leaves One Dead

The accident occurred about 2:40 a.m. Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A motorist was killed Friday morning when his body was ejected during a fiery crash on the Artesia (91) Freeway in neighborhing Buena Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 2:42 a.m. Oct. 12, said a CHP dispatcher, adding that the vehicle went over the side of the freeway in the area of Beach Boulevard.

The male victim was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle, which caught fire, according to the CHP's online Traffic Incident Information Page.

The victim's name was being withheld notification of next of kin, according to the coroner's office.
