A motorist who mistakenly hit the accelerator instead of the brakes slammed into the back of a sheriff's patrol car, causing a chain reaction involved four vehicles at Los Cerritos Center.
The crash at 239 Los Cerritos Center was reported just after 7 p.m. Saturday, a Los Angeles County sheriff's dispatcher told Patch.
No one was injured and no one was cited, the dispatcher said.
