Norwalk Woman Killed in Crash with Big Rig on 605 Freeway in Cerritos
A 52-year-old Norwalk resident suffered fatal injuries in a collision with a big rig in Cerritos on Wednesday.
Merida Quintana, 52, of Norwalk was killed in an accident involving a big rig on the rain-slicked roads of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Cerritos earlier this week, authorities said.
Quintana died at the scene of the crash, which occurred on the 605 Freeway at South Street about 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.
The circumstances of the accident, including whether it was rain-related, remain under investigation.
