Portion of Bloomfield Avenue Shut Down Following Rollover Crash in Cerritos

A motorist was injured in a rollover crash near the Bloomfield Place exit in Cerritos on Monday afternoon.

A woman was transported to a hospital with complaints of pain following a rollover crash near the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Artesia Boulevard in Cerritos on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The accident occurred about 1 p.m. Monday near Bloomfield Place -- the dining center that features  and the shop.

According to the initial investigation, it appears a woman driving a silver Merdeces Benz was pulling out of the center's parking lot when she collided with a man in a pickup truck who was traveling southbound on Bloomfield Avenue, said Lt. J. Deedrick of the Cerritos Sheriff's Station.
