Search Continues for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed Norwalk Skateboarder

Authorities today sought the public's help in solving a months-old hit-and-run that took the life of a 20-year-old man as he rode a skateboard in Norwalk.

The man was killed around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, according to Detective Steve Boyer of the Norwalk Sheriff's Station.

He was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of Studebaker and Foster roads, Boyer said.

A passerby rendered aid, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

The suspect vehicle was a dark metallic blue 2003-2007 Nissan Titan. It may have sustained damage to its left front area and headlight.
